How to Receive Your COVID-19 Vaccine if Your Appointment on January 17th was Cancelled
2022-01-18
The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) is advising clients how they can receive their COVID-19 vaccine following the cancellation of the EOHU vaccination clinics in Casselman, Rockland and Winchester on Monday, January 17th due to the inclement weather.
If you had an appointment at an EOHU vaccination clinic on January 17th, you can:
- Book another appointment through Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccination portal at www.Ontario.ca/bookvaccine or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900. Additional appointments will be added to the Provincial Booking System in the coming days to make up for the ones that were cancelled on January 17th. Booking an appointment will help avoid wait times and ensure a better flow of clients at the clinic.
- Present yourself at any of the EOHU’s Walk-in Community-Based COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics, with proof of the appointment you had on January 17th. You can show the confirmation of appointment you received when you booked, whether it is a number, email or text message. To ensure adequate clinic flow, you may be offered a scheduled time to return for your vaccination.
If none of the above options are possible for you, please call the EOHU at 1 800 267-7120.
The EOHU apologizes for any inconvenience the cancellation of the January 17th clinics may have caused.
